What in the wide world of baseball are you doing! You pinch hit Herandez with two men on and one out in the 9th against Franklin? Do you not realize that Nix is on the team, he's left handed would have had the whole open on the right side and has a better career average against Franklin. What a sad way to end a ball game.

I complained about this on facebook right after it happened. I think they thought they were justifying the move on FSN Ohio after it happened but quickly realized it didn't make sense:
Ramon Hernandez was 3-21 off Franklin
Laynce Nix was 4-16 off Franklin
Righties were batting around .230 off Franklin
Lefties were batting .300 off Franklin
Everything suggests using Nix, the lefty. Everything and everybody suggests it, EXCEPT **** DUSTY BAKER!
That was a nice one to watch on Saturday. Man, the more I watch the Cardinals, the more I hate them. I may hate them more than the Cubs.
A win today puts Cincy in First Place.
I'd love to be able to watch some meaningful games in August and September and have crowds in Cincy like the one last night!
I was there the last two days, excitement is picking up. If they can keep it up I'd expect a better atmosphere and crowds throughout the year.

I was up for the Cubs series just a few weeks ago and it seemed as if there were more Cubs fans there than Reds fans.
I enjoyed the game Saturday night. The crowd for the Civil Rights game seemed electric. I don't like being AT those games (too crowded for me anymore) but I love watching them on tv. I'll be heading back up in mid-June (have tix for a concert and figured I might as well catch a game) and then back up in July for the Chris Sabo HOF induction game. I can't miss watching Spuds get inducted into the Reds Hall.
